2 Corinthians 5:20 NLT

We are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us.

Colossians 4:5-6 NIV84

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

Mark 16:15 NCV

Jesus said to His followers, Go everywhere in the world, and tell the Good News to everyone.

1 Peter 3:15C NIV84

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

Matthew 28:19c-20 | NIV84

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

James 2:14 NLT

What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone?

James 2:15C-22

Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well–but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. Now someone may argue, Some people have faith; others have good deeds. But I say, How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds. You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless? Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete.

James 1:22 NLT

Don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.

Matthew 5:13-16 NIV84

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.  Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

1.  Connect with people.

Colossians 3:14 NLT

Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

Colossians 3:17A NLT

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus.

Acts 2:1B-4 NLT

Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.

2. Share your faith don’t shove it.

Acts 1:8 NLT

You will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere.

3. Invite them to a place where they can experience God.

1 Corinthians 2:1-5 MSG

You’ll remember, friends, that when I first came to you to let you in on God’s master stroke, I didn’t try to impress you with polished speeches and the latest philosophy. I deliberately kept it plain and simple: first Jesus and who he is; then Jesus and what he did—Jesus crucified. I was unsure of how to go about this, and felt totally inadequate—I was scared to death, if you want the truth of it—and so nothing I said could have impressed you or anyone else. But the Message came through anyway. God’s Spirit and God’s power did it, which made it clear that your life of faith is a response to God’s power, not to some fancy mental or emotional footwork by me or anyone else.

1. They are too judgmental.

2. They don't care about me.

3. They are hypocrites.

4. It seems God doesn't matter in their life.

5. They are too political.

1.  I want to believe life is meaningful and has a purpose.

2. I need community.

3. I need people to listen to me.

4. I need to be respected.

5. I need help growing in my faith.

John 3:3,6 NIV84

I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

2 Peter 3:9 NLT

The Lord isn’t really being slow about His promise, as some people think. No, He is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.
